Our broadband grant application has been approved by the Colorado Broadband Board. Highline will start installing fiber throughout the project area in the Fall of 2023. Even with the grant award, installing high speed fiber optic lines throughout our communities will require a significant capital investment from Highline. They will connect individual homes with up to 2 Gbps internet service as they install fiber throughout the neighborhoods. Overview
The Conifer Mountain and Kings Valley communities worked with Highline to receive grant funding from the Colorado Broadband Office to bring high-speed fiber internet to our homes.
Highline has applied for and received multiple broadband grants along the Highway 285 corridor in Park County and Jefferson County to install Fiber-to-the-Premise internet to thousands of dwellings in local mountain communities.
Highline is collecting a $200 deposit as part of the sign up process to secure your place in the installation queue for Conifer Mountain and Kings Valley. This deposit will cover complete installation to your home.

Grant Application Approved
The Colorado Broadband Advisory Board awarded a partial grant
of HCSM funding to the Conifer Mountain and Kings Valley project in the amount of $317,645.79, and a partial grant of SLFRF funding to the project in the amount $3,097,297.87, for a total project award of $3,414,943.66. The total grant requested was $3,547,024.94 and the total project costs are estimated at $4,729,366.59. Highline will make a significant capital investment in the project to cover costs above and beyond the awarded grants.
